Bu bildirim, 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve AB Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR) kapsamında, veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla [YER TUTUCU: ŞAHIS İŞLETMESİ UNVANI] tarafından hazırlanmıştır. Adres: [YER TUTUCU: İŞLETME ADRESİ], Türkiye. İletişim: [YER TUTUCU: İLETİŞİM E-POSTASI].

1. Topladığımız Veriler

  • Hesap bilgileri: e-posta adresiniz, giriş yöntemi (e-posta/şifre veya Google) ve Google ile girerseniz Google'ın paylaştığı ad ve profil bilgisi.
  • Kitaplara girdiğiniz bilgiler: karakter adları, yaşları ve görünüş tarifleri, konu ve senaryo metinleri, ithaf notu ve "hazırlayan" bilgisi. Çocuğunuzun gerçek adı yerine bir takma ad kullanmanızı öneririz.
  • Üretilen içerik: kitapların metinleri, yapay zekâ ile üretilmiş görseller ve seslendirmeler, paylaşım bağlantıları.
  • Kullanım ve faturalama verisi: planınız, abonelik durumu, kalan kullanım hakkı, üretim kayıtları (başlık, sayfa sayısı, tarih, maliyet), IP adresinden tahmin edilen ülke ve sunucu günlükleri (IP adresi, tarayıcı bilgisi, istek zamanı).
  • Ödeme verisi: ödemeyi Paddle alır. Biz kart bilgilerinizi görmeyiz; Paddle'dan yalnızca e-posta adresiniz, ülkeniz, abonelik durumu ve işlem/abonelik numarası bize iletilir.

2. Fotoğraf ve Biyometrik Veri Toplamıyoruz

EpiStori fotoğraf yüklemeyi kabul etmez. Hiçbir çocuğa veya yetişkine ait fotoğraf, yüz görüntüsü veya biyometrik veri toplamaz, işlemez ve saklamaz. Kitaplardaki tüm karakter görselleri, sizin yazdığınız metin tarifinden yapay zekâ ile tamamen kurgusal olarak üretilir ve gerçek bir kişiyi temsil etmez.

3. Verileri Neden ve Hangi Hukuki Sebeple İşliyoruz

  • Hizmeti sunmak (hesap, kitap üretimi, saklama, paylaşım): sözleşmenin kurulması ve ifası (KVKK m.5/2-c; GDPR m.6/1-b).
  • Faturalama ve muhasebe kayıtları: hukuki yükümlülük (KVKK m.5/2-ç; GDPR m.6/1-c).
  • Güvenlik, kötüye kullanımın önlenmesi ve hizmetin iyileştirilmesi: meşru menfaat (KVKK m.5/2-f; GDPR m.6/1-f).
  • "Kitabım hazır olunca e-posta gönder" gibi isteğe bağlı bildirimler: açık talebiniz / rızanız; istediğiniz zaman kapatabilirsiniz.

Verilerinizi reklam için kullanmayız, satmayız ve kendi yapay zekâ modellerimizi eğitmek için kullanmayız.

4. Alt İşleyiciler (Hizmet Sağlayıcılarımız)

  • Google Firebase / Google Cloud — kimlik doğrulama, veritabanı ve dosya depolama.
  • Google Gemini API — metin, görsel ve seslendirme üretimi. Girdiğiniz metinler kitabı üretmek için Google'a gönderilir; Google'ın ücretli API şartlarına göre bu veriler Google'ın modellerini eğitmek için kullanılmaz.
  • Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited) — ödeme, fatura, vergi ve iade işlemleri (Merchant of Record). Paddle, ödeme verileri için kendi gizlilik politikasına göre bağımsız veri sorumlusudur.
  • Hostinger — uygulama sunucusunun barındırılması.
  • E-posta gönderim (SMTP) sağlayıcısı — yalnızca "kitabım hazır" bildirimini açarsanız.

5. Yurt Dışına Aktarım

Bu sağlayıcıların sunucuları Türkiye ve/veya Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı dışında olabilir. Aktarımlar, hizmetin sunulması için zorunlu olduğu ölçüde ve sağlayıcıların standart sözleşme hükümleri gibi güvenceleriyle yapılır.

6. Saklama ve Silme Süreleri

  • Hesap ve kitaplarınız: siz silene veya hesabınızı kapatana kadar.
  • Hesabı sildiğinizde: kitaplarınız, görselleriniz, seslendirmeleriniz ve abonelik/kullanım kaydınız hemen silinir.
  • Üretim kayıtları (başlık, sayfa sayısı, maliyet): hesap silindiğinde kimliğinizden arındırılır (anonim hâle getirilir) ve muhasebe ile kötüye kullanım denetimi için en fazla 12 ay tutulur.
  • Sunucu günlükleri: en fazla 30 gün.
  • Fatura ve ödeme kayıtları: Paddle tarafından yasal saklama süreleri boyunca tutulur.

7. Haklarınız

KVKK m.11 ve GDPR kapsamında verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, bunlara erişme ve kopyasını alma, düzeltilmesini veya silinmesini isteme, işlemenin kısıtlanmasını isteme, itiraz etme, verilerinizi taşınabilir biçimde alma, rızanızı geri çekme ve zarara uğradıysanız giderilmesini talep etme haklarına sahipsiniz. Ayrıca Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu'na veya AB'de yaşıyorsanız ülkenizin veri koruma otoritesine şikâyette bulunabilirsiniz.

8. Hesap ve Veri Silme Talebi

  • Hesabınızı ve tüm kitaplarınızı Ayarlar → Tehlikeli Bölge → Hesabımı Sil adımıyla kendiniz silebilirsiniz.
  • Diğer tüm talepler için [YER TUTUCU: İLETİŞİM E-POSTASI] adresine hesabınıza kayıtlı e-postadan yazın. Talebinizi en geç 30 gün içinde yanıtlarız.

9. Çocukların Verileri

Hesaplar yalnızca yetişkinler içindir. Bir çocuk için kitap hazırlarken girdiğiniz ad, yaş ve görünüş tarifini yalnızca kitabı üretmek için işleriz. Bir çocuğun bize doğrudan veri verdiğini fark edersek bu veriyi sileriz.

10. Çerezler ve Yerel Depolama

Yalnızca oturumunuzu açık tutmak ve dil, tema gibi tercihlerinizi hatırlamak için gerekli teknik depolamayı kullanırız. Reklam veya takip çerezi kullanmayız. Ödeme penceresini açtığınızda Paddle, ödemenin güvenliği için kendi çerezlerini kullanabilir.

11. Güvenlik ve Erişim

Veriler şifreli bağlantı (HTTPS) üzerinden iletilir ve erişim yetkiyle sınırlıdır. Destek, hata giderme ve kötüye kullanım incelemesi gerektiğinde yetkili yöneticimiz kayıtlı içeriğe erişebilir; bu erişim yalnızca bu amaçlarla yapılır.

12. Değişiklikler

Bu bildirimi güncelleyebiliriz; önemli değişiklikleri site üzerinden veya e-postayla duyururuz.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: your email address, sign-in method (email/password or Google) and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile details Google shares.
  • What you enter for your books: character names, ages and appearance descriptions, topics and story ideas, dedications and "prepared by" text. We recommend using a nickname instead of your child's real name.
  • Generated content: book texts, AI-generated images and narration, and share links.
  • Usage and billing data: your plan, subscription status, remaining allowance, generation records (title, page count, date, cost), approximate country derived from your IP address, and server logs (IP address, browser details, request time).
  • Payment data: payments are taken by Paddle. We never see your card details; Paddle only passes us your email address, country, subscription status and transaction/subscription IDs.

2. We Do Not Collect Photographs or Biometric Data

EpiStori does not accept photo uploads. We do not collect, process or store any photograph, facial image or biometric data of any child or adult. Every character image is generated by AI as entirely fictional artwork from the text description you write and does not depict a real person.

3. Why We Use Your Data and Our Legal Bases

  • Providing the Service (account, generating, storing and sharing books): performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c; GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Billing and accounting records: legal obligation (KVKK art. 5/2-ç; GDPR art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Security, abuse prevention and improving the Service: legitimate interests (KVKK art. 5/2-f; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Optional notifications such as "email me when my book is ready": your request / consent, which you can switch off at any time.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train our own AI models.

4. Sub-processors (Our Service Providers)

  • Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database and file storage.
  • Google Gemini API — text, image and narration generation. The text you enter is sent to Google to generate your book; under Google's paid API terms this data is not used to train Google's models.
  • Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited) — payments, invoicing, tax and refunds (Merchant of Record). Paddle acts as an independent controller for payment data under its own privacy policy.
  • Hostinger — hosting of the application server.
  • Email delivery (SMTP) provider — only if you switch on the "book ready" email.

5. International Transfers

These providers may store data outside Türkiye and/or the European Economic Area. Transfers happen only as far as needed to provide the Service and rely on safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention and Deletion

  • Your account and books: until you delete them or close your account.
  • When you delete your account: your books, images, narration and subscription/usage record are deleted immediately.
  • Generation records (title, page count, cost): stripped of your identity (anonymised) when your account is deleted and kept for up to 12 months for accounting and abuse monitoring.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days.
  • Invoice and payment records: kept by Paddle for the legally required periods.

7. Your Rights

Under KVKK art. 11 and the GDPR you can ask whether we process your data, access it and get a copy, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, withdraw consent, and seek compensation for damage. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

8. Deleting Your Account or Data

  • You can delete your account and all books yourself under Settings → Danger Zone → Delete my account.
  • For any other request, email [YER TUTUCU: İLETİŞİM E-POSTASI] from the address registered to your account. We reply within 30 days at the latest.

9. Children's Data

Accounts are for adults only. When you create a book for a child, we process the name, age and appearance description you enter only to generate that book. If we learn that a child has given us data directly, we delete it.

10. Cookies and Local Storage

We only use the technical storage needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language and theme. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. When you open the checkout, Paddle may set its own cookies to secure the payment.

11. Security and Access

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is restricted. Our authorised administrator may access stored content when needed for support, troubleshooting or abuse review, and only for those purposes.

12. Changes

We may update this notice and will announce material changes on the site or by email.
